The Borderland Museum opened its doors on 12 November 1992, exactly three years after the opening of the border gates. True to the motto: Preserve - Remember - Remind, the exhibition was completely redesigned after the move in 2016 and now shows the painful history of German division between 1945 and 1990 in a clear and understandable way. After 20 years of "high ropes course in the forest", the "JANGSTEL JUNGLE" is now starting with a new concept at a new location.

The high ropes course is located at 720 m above sea level above the mountain town of Sankt Andreasberg. The facility currently has a length of 900 m on two floors. (More information here!)

With a length of 1000 metres, the all-weather toboggan run at the Hexentanzplatz in Thale is one of the longest runs of its kind in Germany. On the winding track you can reach a maximum speed of 40km/h with the bobsleigh. (More information here!)
